Component design

While designing your components, we take into account not only technical requirements but also economic aspects by identifying and utilising cost savings potentials. As we collaborate with customers from a wide range of industries and continuously train our employees, you benefit from a wide range of design and development experience with state-of-the-art technology.

Owing to our expertise in additive manufacturing, we take into account additive manufacturing technologies as well as conventional processes when selecting the manufacturing process, thus offering you new possibilities.

FEM calculation

Our experts offer FEM calculation as a separate service or as part of a holistic development project. Using the FEM calculation (finite element method), we investigate the stresses that affect your component in order to better predict, evaluate and optimise the mechanics, thermics or flow.

We also offer you the computational proof of the strength of your components by sending you a detailed report with all necessary proof of strength and data.

Topology optimisation

Topology optimisation

With the help of topology optimisation, we develop a design proposal for your component that reduces the material requirements and meets the load requirements of the components. With the resulting lightweight structures, you reduce resource consumption, save production costs, and benefit from improved performance.

We decide together whether optimisation should be aligned with a conventional manufacturing process or additive manufacturing.

With additive manufacturing processes, you get perfectly optimised parts without the limitations of conventional manufacturing processes.

Quality checks

Würth Industrie Service has an in-house test laboratory, which is accredited according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 for over 50 standard-compliant procedures and serves as an official test station. In addition to quality checks for products in our product range and quality assurance in development projects, we offer testing services for your components and, upon request, issue official certificates and inspection certificates.
